Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in England, with the exception of the University of Buckingham and the University of Law, receive support from the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE), which administers funds for all 128 HEIs. There are many different entry requirements depending on your chosen course of study in the UK.

For bachelor degree:

  • Academic qualification: You should have completed at least 13 years of education in your home country or in the UK, higher National Certificate or diploma level.
  • English language: IELTS 6.0 or equivalent in any other acceptable English language testing examinations.

For Master degree:

  • Academic requirements: You have completed at least undergraduate level of study in your home country or in the UK.
  • English language: IELTS overall 6.0 to 6.5 or equivalent level of score in any English language testing examination.

Studying in the UK is generally cheaper than studying at equally ranked universities in the United States. The bachelor and master’s degree tuition fee range from $10,000 – $20,000 per year.
